2017 Dripping Springs Vodka Texas wildlife label contest winner "Texas Roadrunner"

I am so excited and honored to have been chosen as one of the winners again this year of The Dripping Springs Vodka and Gin Texas Wildlife Label Contest! My drawing of The Texas Roadrunner will be made into a limited edition label for Dripping Springs Vodka in July 2017.

I will be sure to share photos as the process of bottling gets underway! I hope to visit the distillery once again this year  so I can enjoy the exciting experience of watching my label being applied as the bottled vodka comes down the line.

I am honored to have this opportunity to share my art and work with such an outstanding Vodka and Gin Company who makes me feel like family.

This years drawing was once again inspired from my time spent exploring the beautiful Caprock Canyons in Caprock Canyons State Park in Quitaque, Texas. These quirky birds dash and mingle with the massive bison. Recently, I returned home from another trip to Caprock Canyons with my daughter to find out that my drawing had been chosen as the 2017 winning label.

I like to say “I paint my life ” and “My life is my art”. Once again this rings true and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Visit Dripping Spring Vodka.
